Briddell Crafts 4-0 Shutout Versus Saskatoon Saturday, September 9th , 2006 Fans at Moose Grounds witnessed the Mexico City Aztecas blank the Saskatoon Moose, 4-0, on the strength of a superb effort from starter Jay Briddell. The Mexico City left-hander allowed 4 hits in recording the shutout. "Jay was good today, but I don't want to focus too much on a single game," Mexico City manager Zack Englund said. "If you're capable of playing at this level, you're capable of having a good game. The real question is if you can learn from that game and repeat it." This year in 17 starts, Briddell has recorded 3 wins and absorbed 10 losses. He has pitched 98.1 innings, allowed 107 hits, struck out 56 and has a 4.67 ERA.
