Saskatoon Sends St. Vincent to Detroit Sunday, September 3rd , 2006 Saskatoon and Detroit announced today in a joint press conference that 22-year old minor league LF Glenn St. Vincent will be going to the Chargers in exchange for 35-year old LF Drew Brooks. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. For the year, Brooks has hit .248 with 13 home runs, 44 RBIs and scored 35 runs. |
