Capitals, Chargers Agree to Swap Saturday, September 2nd , 2006 In a hastily called press conference, Ottawa announced today a trade with Detroit that will send 24-year old minor league CF Elliot Taylor to the Chargers in exchange for 35-year old C Andy Gugler and 23-year old minor league 2B Garret Wise. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. Gugler is currently hitting .222 with 16 home runsand 32 RBIs, while scoring 40 runs. |
