Road Win Lifts Albany to 2-0 Lead in DCS
The Albany Senators moved to within one game of the SPC Classic Series, downing the Ottawa Capitals on the road at Capitals Stadium by a score of 7-2. Senators left-hander Corey Ferrari had a strong outing. He threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the Senators a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Division Championship Series.

Danny Keown came through with a big-time hit for Albany. The right fielder smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 6-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Ferrari called the win "a lesson in teamwork."

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday at Senators Field in Albany.
