Gugler reaches base 4 times to Power Capitals Offense

The Ottawa Capitals welcomed the Allentown Fleetwings to an afternoon game at Capitals Stadium.
Andy Gugler helped his team muscle past the Allentown Fleetwings, 11-5. In the game, the Ottawa catcher went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Picking up the win was Jason Kepke. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 5 runs on 11 hits. The left--hander struck out 1 and walked 1.
Early in the game, designated hitter Gil Clark had a 2-run double for Ottawa. It was his 15th double of the season and put the Capitals on top, 3-1.
"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Allentown manager Craig McCain.
Ottawa, at 50-30, sits in first place in the East Division.
