Tigers Suffer One-Run Loss at Allentown
Hamilton got a big-time effort from pitcher Howard Berard, but it wasn't enough to keep the Allentown Fleetwings from winning the game, 2-1. Berard threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The 5th-place Fleetwings now sit at 35-40.

The Fleetwings got a big at-bat from shortstop Matt Rathbone. For the game, Rathbone was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Allentown a 2-1 lead.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Rathbone.
