Velasquez Hits 2 home runs in Caracals Win
In a tight contest at Caracals Stadium, the Calgary Caracals edged the Winnipeg Buffaloes by the score of 5-4. Calgary right fielder Juan Velasquez, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. The win elevated the Caracals to 46-28.

Velasquez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 0-1 splitter from C.J. Knight, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Caracals a 5-4 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Velasquez.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Velasquez said.
