The Southern California Empires pinned a convincing loss on the Mexico City Aztecas, 9-3, at Estadio Azteca. Mike Reed was a main factor in the win. He was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Southern California. The win belonged to Steve White in relief. His record improves to 7-3.
