Rollers Need Extra Innings to Top Capitals, 5-4
The Las Vegas Rollers faced a tough opponent in Ottawa pitcher Jamie Schley, but still scratched out a win at Capitals Stadium by a final score of 5-4 in 13 innings. Schley went 7.2 innings and allowed 4 runs. At 29-31, the Rollers claim 6th place in the West Division.

The game was at a stalemate until designated hitter Jason Ybarra came to bat in the top of the 13th. Facing Ottawa pitcher Jon Delgado, he hit a full count fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Las Vegas on top, 5-4.

"This is a resilient bunch," said Las Vegas manager Mike Beck.
