|
Spirited fans greeted the Mexico City Aztecas for their clash with the Allentown Fleetwings.
Steve Abraham was a major factor in the 7-3 Allentown win over Mexico City. The Fleetwings catcher was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The 6th-place Fleetwings now have a win-loss record of 27-29.
Matt Rathbone had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the first for Allentown. With the bases loaded and the Fleetwings leading 2-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"Nice win for us," said Abraham. "Now we'll go after the next one."
