Good production from catcher Steve Abraham helped the Allentown Fleetwings topple the Edmonton Drillers, 7-5. Abraham was 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Fleetwings. Ricardo Mercado got credit for the win, improving to 5-3. He allowed 5 runs on 10 hits in 7.2 innings. Zach Blumke, who is tied for 2nd in the SPBC in saves with 11, nailed down the save.

With two out in the top of the fifth, Sam Moreland put Allentown in front, 5-1, with a 2-run single. The Fleetwings went on to win the ballgame.

"They had a good approach," Edmonton skipper George Muller said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."

With the win, Allentown pushed its record to 24-24.
