Empires Best Admirals in Pitching Duel

The Southern California Empires and Quebec City Admirals played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.
Southern California Empires pitcher Tyler Rodriguez was in fine form, leading his team past the Quebec City Admirals, 2-1. The Empires saw their win-loss record go to 24-21. At the same time, the Admirals fell to 23-22.
In the bottom of the sixth, Southern California designated hitter Taylor Nahrgang had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and one out, Nahrgang stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 1-0, Southern California. For the game, he went 1-3.
