Allentown first baseman Chris Tarter made his presence felt in the 10-9 Fleetwings triumph over the Vacaville Steelheads. Tarter was 3 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Mike Mansfield earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record is now 2-0. Zach Blumke, who is tied for 2nd in the SPBC in saves with 9, nailed down the save.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Fleetwings grabbed the lead when Tarter hit his 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple off Chris LaBriola made it 10-9, Allentown.
