The rain did not keep Allentown and Hamilton from finishing their game.

The Allentown Fleetwings easily defeated the Hamilton Tigers, 16-4, at Hamilton Park, with left fielder Adam Torgerson a main contributor to the win. He was 4-5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for Allentown. Allentown pitcher Mike Aloe got the win. He's now 2-1. Howard Berard was tagged with the loss.

Allentown used the hitting of Mark Ibarra to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Fleetwings on top, 10-1. For the game, Ibarra had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Torgerson told the Allentown Daily.

The Fleetwings, with only their 3rd win in 16 games, have not had much to write home about in 2006.
