Tigers Get Hard-Earned Win
The Hamilton Tigers beat the Allentown Fleetwings, 7-6, at Hamilton Park. Hamilton left fielder Haywood Pickering had an outstanding performance. He was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. To call the performance of the 2006 Fleetwings subpar is an understatement.

Justin Easter was the walk-off hero for Hamilton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Tigers second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It makes it a little nicer in the clubhouse when we win," said Easter. "It eases the tension."
