Top Rookie Trophy Presented to Ray Thursday, October 20th , 2005 The Professional Baseball Circuit's Rookie of the Year Award winner for 2005 is Cole Ray, the 25-year-old left fielder for the Denver Cutthroats. He won the award by hitting .278 and collecting 81 hits, 20 home runs, 47 RBIs and 32 walks with 50 runs scored and a .350 on-base percentage. Byron Schroder of the St. Louis Lions finished second in voting, while Julius Walker of the St. Louis Lions finished third. |
