Injury Worsens, Return Delayed for Lions Walker Sunday, October 9th , 2005 St. Louis received another blow today when doctors revealed that Lions center fielder Julius Walker had suffered a setback in his recovery and will miss additional time because of a forearm strain. Walker has been nearing his projected return date, but now that will be pushed back 2 weeks. In 78 games this season Walker has batted at a .264 pace with 73 hits and 3 home runs. |
