Roche Gives Los Angeles Goose Eggs Saturday, September 10th , 2005 Dallas Texans starter Chris Roche really did a number on the Los Angeles Knights today, shutting them out 1-0 on 2 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 3 walks and had 6 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Los Angeles manager James Walker. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Roche."
