Atlanta Commits $6,300,000 to 3B Walsh Monday, December 12th , 2005 The Atlanta front office announced the signing of Matt Walsh today as the team's new third baseman. The 32-year-old came to terms with the Pilots and will be hauling in $1,260,000 a year over 5 years. Walsh is hitting at a .294 rate over his 505-game career. Lifetime he has 105 doubles, 58 triples and 18 home runs with 221 RBIs and 265 runs scored. |
