San Francisco Grabs 4-2 Road Win
|
The San Francisco Peanuts called upon starter Brad Kuhlman, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the New York City Blues, 4-2. Dave Kaminski earned the save, his 3rd, for the Peanuts. The Peanuts, now 8-2, have had a terrific start to the season.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ian Runfola? The San Francisco catcher had a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Peanuts on top, 2-1. For the game, Runfola had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Winning is contagious," said Runfola. "We're looking forward to the next game."
