Behind the hitting of Matt Lopresti, the New York City Blues stopped the Houston Mavericks, 6-5. Lopresti went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Blues. After today's action, New York City sits at 47-40; Houston slips to 52-35.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Lopresti hit a fastball from Ze-dong Phan for a solo home run. The Blues, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
