Shamrock Grounds was the site of a competitive game between the Denver Cutthroats and Boston Shamrocks.

Boston starter Mario Sanchez pitched well against the Denver Cutthroats at Shamrock Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-2. Eric Kolbe, now 2-5, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 0.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Boston trailing 2-1, Zach Edwards jumped on a 1-0 sinker from Aaron Sales for a 2-run home run, sending the Shamrocks to a walk-off win.

"This place was jumping at the end," Edwards said.

The Shamrocks go to 23-37 with the win.
