Knights Lose to Motors, 3-1
|
Detroit Motors starter David Eglinton hurled his team past the Los Angeles Knights, 3-1. Eglinton went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 8. His record improves to 7-4. Getting the save was Dal-soo Kim, his 14th.
The Motors got a big at-bat from first baseman Mahir Ezrahi. For the game, Ezrahi went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 16th double of the season gave Detroit a 2-0 lead.
"We'll take some time to unwind," said Eglinton, "and then get after it again."
The win for the Motors raised their record to 28-26.
