Blackhawks Pick Up 4-2 Road Win Over Boston
The Chicago Blackhawks had to overcome a fine effort from Boston pitcher Willie Cantu to grab a narrow 4-2 win at Shamrock Grounds. Cantu went 7.1 innings and allowed 4 runs. Javier Aguilar picked up the win with 8 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 10 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 2-1. Kosho Otani closed the game out for Chicago, earning his 5th save.

Chicago needed the clutch hitting of Jose Gaytan to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Blackhawks on top, 4-1. For the game, Gaytan had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Gaytan attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
