Atlanta second baseman Ryan Grimm played a vital role in his team's 9-6 triumph over St. Louis. He was 3-4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 5 runs for Atlanta. Their 15-17 record puts the Pilots 5th in the East Division.

Atlanta took a 9-6 lead on Grimm's 6th double of the season. The 2-run double, which he hit off Aarnoud Sparreboom in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Atlanta to the win.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Grimm told the Atlanta Chronicle.
