LF Park Reaches Agreement with Blackhawks Monday, December 27th , 2004 Team insiders were tight-lipped prior to today's deal that brought 26-year-old left fielder Howie Park to Chicago. Park is considered one of the league's A-list players and certainly will enhance any chances the Blackhawks have to win a playoff spot this year. In his career, Park has accumulated a .307 batting average with 500 hits. His totals include 67 doubles, 4 triples, 96 home runs, 377 strikeouts, 229 runs scored, 272 RBIs and a lifetime .371 OBP. |
