Park Claims PBC Batter of the Month Award Friday, October 1st , 2004 Howie Park earned September's Batter of the Month honors in the Professional Baseball Circuit by reeling off a .380 average, going 30 for 79 with 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and 16 runs scored. The soon-to-be free agent was hitting with great urgency in an effort to bolster his asking price in the Boston clubhouse and around the rest of the league. For the season Park has hit .320 with 25 home runs and 66 RBIs. He has played in 88 games and scored 57 times. |
