Hoelzer Hurls Texans to 4-0 Shutout Win Tuesday, September 28th , 2004 It was not a good day at the plate for the Denver Cutthroats. They came up empty when it mattered against Dallas Texans right-hander Zach Hoelzer, who scattered 5 hits across 9 innings and held the Cutthroats scoreless. "We had 5 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Denver manager Joe Peters said later. Hoelzer chalked up 7 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 4-0 Texans win.
