Bruhn Connects for 3 Homers for Lions
Sunday, September 26th , 2004
The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Will Bruhn did today at Camelot, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 9-1.
"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Bruhn said. "Good things happen, when that happens."
The St. Louis Lions right fielder blistered the Los Angeles Knights for 4 hits, batted in 5 runs and scored 4 times.
"It ain't like we weren't trying," Los Angeles manager James Walker said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today."
Will Bruhn struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Earl Dunbar in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Miguel Moreno in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Miguel Moreno in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
Bruhn is batting .310 this year with 5 home runs, 30 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 65 hits in 210 at-bats.
