The New York City Blues downed the St. Louis Lions, 6-2, at Blues Field. David Kuhn led the way, going 2-for-2 for New York City. The Blues saw their record improve to 14-25.

In the bottom of the seventh, New York City second baseman Ricky Sori hit a 2-run single to left-center field. The clutch hit made it, 4-2, Blues.

Kuhn expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
