Warriors Lose to Motors, 5-1
|
Detroit rode a fine outing from starter Mike Brown to victory over the Washington Warriors at The Garage. The final score was 5-1. Detroit is now 17-18, while Washington is 19-16.
The Motors got an important contribution from third baseman Mahir Ezrahi, who in the bottom of the third punched a 2-1 changeup into left for a solo home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Motors ahead, 2-0.
"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Ezrahi.
