Knights Get 7-3 Win Versus Boston
|
Los Angeles shortstop Todd Parnell helped his team beat the Boston Shamrocks, 7-3. Parnell, who is tied for 10th in the PBC in hits with 40, went 3 for 3 for the Knights. Earl Dunbar, the winning pitcher, is now 3-2. He went 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits, while fanning 7 and walking 2. The Knights are now 15-19, while the Shamrocks fall to 15-19.
With two out in the bottom of the fifth, Cody Eleam put Los Angeles in front, 4-2, with a 2-run single. The Knights went on to win the ballgame.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Parnell. "And not try to do too much."
