Houston Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Houston Mavericks starter Josh Columbus turned in a sterling performance against the St. Louis Lions, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. The triumph puts Houston at 17-15 for the season.

Jon Booth was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mavericks pinch hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

Columbus said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
