Massey Takes Home SRCLW Pitcher of the Year Award Wednesday, September 22nd , 2027 With speculation about his retirement gaining steam last offseason, Steelheads ace Josh Massey had something to prove. He proved it in award-winning style as he accepted the SRCL West Pitcher of the Year Award today. The veteran Vacaville (R) hurler posted a record of 18 wins and 5 losses this year with a 2.80 ERA. In 28 starts he struck out 165 and walked 42 in 167.1 innings. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Casey Lambert of the Southern Cal (R) Empires finished second in voting, while Luis Martinez of the Vacaville (R) Steelheads finished third.
