Sweet Sweep for Vacaville (R) Wednesday, September 8th , 2027 The Vacaville (R) Steelheads made quick work of the D.C. (R) Potomacs in the Championship Cup, sweeping them aside to clinch the 1st SPBC Rookie Complex League crown in Steelheads history. Vacaville (R) sealed the series today at PBC Rookie Development Complex with a 13-5 victory. During the regular season play, the Steelheads notched a 104-40 record and wound up in first place in the SRCL West race. "I won't say it was easy, because baseball games are rarely easy," said Vacaville (R) manager Shane Brown. "But I did expect we would have to play a much longer series." View Boxscore |
