Angel Mejia Out for Season Monday, August 30th , 2027 The season is apparently over for Angel Mejia. The Green Bay (R) Braves medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 12-13 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Mejia was hurt in the game against Calgary (R) while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Taking a look at his season stats for 2027, Mejia has made 17 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 2-0 won-lost mark with a 4.54 ERA. In pitching 35.2 innings, he has totaled 23 strikeouts and 20 walks. |
