Casiano Batters New York (R) Big Time Thursday, August 19th , 2027 Sherbrooke (R) catcher Roberto Casiano went down swinging at PBC Rookie Development Complex, knocking out 5 hits even as his Canadians fell, 12-11. "It was like I was hitting Little League pitching," Casiano said after his 5-for-6 performance against the New York (R) Knights. "No offense meant to New York (R), but it was like I was back in little league again -- I could see the ball that well." After the game, his manager elaborated on the catcher's improvements, saying Casiano spent the offseason trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball. "That's what I'm trying to do," Casiano agreed. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it." Roberto Casiano singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
