3 Bombs for Dan Krehbiel Friday, August 13th , 2027 Vacaville (R) second baseman Dan Krehbiel blasted three homers at PBC Rookie Development Complex in the 13-7 Steelheads victory over the Vancouver (R) Narwhals. For the game, Dan Krehbiel scored 4 times and knocked in 5 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Krehbiel when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-5, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Krehbiel told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Dan Krehbiel hit a two-run home run off David McNamara in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ricky Valencia in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Danny Garcia in the 8th. Thus far this year, Krehbiel has hit .277 with 6 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
