5-Hit Clinic by Melchor in Sherbrooke (R) Win Monday, June 21st , 2027 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Enrique Melchor -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at PBC Rookie Development Complex and paced the 13-6 Canadians win over the Detroit (R) Chargers. After his dynamite batting performance, the Sherbrooke (R) center fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Enrique Melchor singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Alex Munoz in the 6th and grounded out in the 9th.
