Edmonton (R) Triumph Powered by Nerey's 5 Hits Monday, June 14th , 2027 It was a sensational day at the plate for Daniel Nerey as he led the charge to a nifty 15-5 win over the Moose. The Edmonton (R) shortstop was pure misery for the Saskatoon (R) pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Nerey put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Pablo Padilla, manager for the Moose, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Daniel Nerey singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Alex Lazalde in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
