Great Stroke: Hage Gets 5 Hits Monday, May 31st , 2027 Who needs batting practice? Apparently not Allentown (R) Fleetwings second baseman Caleb Hage, who missed the team's pre-game session at PBC Rookie Development Complex but peppered the Ottawa (R) Capitals for 5 hits come game time. The Fleetwings went on to grab the 6-4 win. "I was late to the park and I wasn't sure coach was even going to keep me in the lineup," he told the press after the game. "Maybe I should skip BP more often." Caleb Hage singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Frank Tinoco in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Josh Fuller in the 7th and singled in the 9th. For the season, Hage is hitting at a .387 clip with 5 home runs, 28 RBIs and has scored 25 runs. He has 43 hits, 29 walks and a .517 on-base percentage. View Boxscore |
