September's Best Batter Announced Friday, October 1st , 2027 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 20 Javier Rodriguez has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Minnesota (R) Loons star can enjoy the numbers he put up in September, which have garnered him the nod as the RCL West Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .356 average with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and 19 runs scored. So far in 2027 Rodriguez is batting .343 with 25 home runs, 104 RBIs and 112 runs scored. He has 146 hits in 426 at-bats and a .479 OBP. |
