RCLW Top Pitcher for August Picked Wednesday, September 1st , 2027 The pick for the RCL West's best pitcher in August is relief specialist, Tristan Hurford. The Dallas (R) pitcher compiled a great month to take home the award. "I just go out there and try and get the job done," Hurford told the press. "Things worked out real well last month and I appreciate the recognition." The 17-year-old reliever threw 16.1 innings in 9 relief appearances as he piled up 3 saves, 15 strikeouts, and notched a 3-0 record and 2.20 ERA for the month. This year, Hurford has 20 relief appearances with 4 saves, 3-0 season record and a 2.57 ERA. He has hurled 28 innings, given up 23 hits, struck out 24 and walked 16. Opposing clubs have batted .225 against the Dallas (R) reliever. |
