Peanuts Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 21st , 2027 The San Francisco (R) Peanuts were certainly not a team of destiny this year and now they have been eliminated from playoff contention. "We thought we had a better chance than this," said starting pitcher Rick Leblanc. "It's a big disappointment." This is the club's 12th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2015. In total, the Peanuts have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 20-year history. |
