The hot-hitting 19-year-old center fielder put up a .667 average and .688 on-base percentage, piling up 10 hits in 15 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the RCLE Player of the Week honors. Currently Martinez is batting .317 with 66 hits and 7 home runs. He has knocked in 22 runs and scored 40 times. |
