League Issues 4-Game Suspensions for Brawl Thursday, July 29th , 2027 Tom Azar of the Atlanta (R) Pilots and Roberto Martinez of the Washington (R) Warriors got into a wrestling match yesterday at PBC Rookie Development Complex and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 4-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs. This season, Azar is batting at a .250 clip with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. Martinez has taken the mound for 23 relief appearances this season, nailing down 7 saves while notching a 4-2 record with a 6.37 ERA. The Washington (R) reliever has limited opposing batters to a .300 batting average. |
