Steed Tames Atlanta (R) Thursday, June 17th , 2027 In a seemingly effortless performance, John Steed of the Nashville (R) Bluebirds shot down the Atlanta (R) Pilots, 2-0, on 6 hits. "John was just locating so well and using his pitches," Nashville (R) manager Andy Schierenbeck said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Steed recorded 9 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Atlanta (R) manager Luke Dixon said in postgame comments to BNN.
