Fletcher Goes 5-for-5 Friday, May 28th , 2027 Arizona (R) first baseman Chris Fletcher had a fantastic day at the plate at PBC Rookie Development Complex, knocking out 5 hits and pacing his club to a win, 11-6. "It was like I was hitting Little League pitching," Fletcher said after his 5-for-5 performance against the Aces. "No offense meant to Las Vegas (R), but it was like I was back in little league again -- I could see the ball that well. But this wasn't a kid park, it was PBC Rookie Development Complex." After the game, his manager elaborated on the first baseman's improvements, saying Fletcher spent the offseason trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball. "That's what I'm trying to do," Fletcher said. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it." Chris Fletcher hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
