Albuquerque Beats Franklin in Championship Cup Saturday, September 11th , 2027 The Albuquerque faithful were cheering in the streets, and Franklin fans wiping away the tears, after the Coyotes won the Championship Cup at Coyote Park today. The Coyotes clinched it by knocking off the Knights 3-1 to take their 6th SPBC Reserve League crown. Albuquerque took the series 4-2. "This club never gave up all year long," Albuquerque manager Manny Villasana told the press. "They believed they could win the title and they did." On the way to the Championship Cup title, Albuquerque compiled a 89-55 won-loss record and finished first in the Western Amateur Circuit.
