Pacheco on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Saturday, August 14th , 2027 Phil Pacheco won the battle against the Boston Battalion, but lost the war. The Fort Wayne Farmers second baseman hit for the cycle, but it wasn't enough to bring home victory. The Farmers fell to the Battalion, 10-4, at Boston Field. "Phil did great but we couldn't put everything together today," Fort Wayne manager Danny Collins said after the game. Pacheco collected 4 hits -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- plus 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Phil Pacheco tripled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Sam Sorenson in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
